    Ok I made the switch with theme folders but it doesn’t seemed to have helped. Now when I got to the admin login page I get a “problem loading page” and when i got to my site’s page it’s a blank page that just has the number “0” on it. Any ideas?

    Update process went smooth on my test sites. I haven’t updated my main site though.. What’s your php version?

    @Josh, don’t download theme from other sources. Checkout theme SVN on WordPress.org. It has older version in /tags.

    Ok, I deleted a file I created when trying to fix this and I can now login to my admin dashboard. However, my website still is not loading and just displays “0”

    @Prasanna,

    I know… but it was out of desperation. I could not locate the download for 1.7.3

    These people are not going to know how to check it out of the SVN. Do you know how to direct download it?

    Just change the version number in download link. For example, to download version 1.7.3, follow this link – http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/graphene.1.7.3.zip

    To everybody who has this issue: I’ve just checked and all your sites look fine to me.

    For what it’s worth, a 500 error reflects an issue with your server, not necessarily with any software you have installed on it. It may just be a coincidence that this happened at the same time as you updated Graphene:

    Ok guys, thanks for the help so far. I have managed to gain access to my dashboard, and get my theme up and running with my child theme activated. Everything that I’ve noticed so far seems to be working EXCEPT one thing:

    Any page that contains posts (homepage, other page of posts, etc) or is a post itself is missing the sidebar on the right side. Pages that don’t have posts contain the sidebar. I would think this should be a relatively simple fix, but I have no idea where to look after doing some research and not coming up with anything.

    Thanks

    Coincidence, no way,

    Several people on different servers and countries.

    I guess it will be php version or something like that.

    I had the same problems and of course my site went dead with the internal server error and wouldn’t allow me to log in. I’ve been able to switch to a default theme 2011, but my wordpress blog looks like crap. I contacted my site host and the server was fine, as evidenced by the fact that changing the them got my site back up.

    Would love help in getting graphene working or is there a similar looking theme without this issue?
