    Okay.

    1. Make category “Test Post”.

    2. Create two separate posts, “Test Post 1”, “Test Post 2”.

    3. In the edit screen for each post, assign it to the “Test Post” category.

    4. In custom menu, tick the “Test Post” box, under “Categories”, to add it to your menu.

    5. Then, when you click on “Test Post” from your menu, it should show up to five of the posts assigned to that category.

Well 1-4 is all true but when I click on Test Post in the menu it only shows one at a time.

Must be a setting somewhere. I’ll keep looking. I feel like I’ve looked at every setting ten times but I must have changed something somewhere which isn’t registering in my brain.

I made one PAGE and assigned it to that post.

What do you mean by this?

Sorry, wrong word. I made one page and *also* assigned it to that catetory “test post”.

So I have two posts and one page assigned to the category “test post”.

Was just curious if a page would behave differently.

Have you tried removing the page?

It didn’t look like yours before I added it. The page didn’t seem to have any impact for better or worse.

Well, if you want to email me a temp admin username and password, I’ll take a quick look at it for you.

Got it, disabled plug ins, re-enabled them one by one. Not sure which one did it but it’s ok now.

    Thanks for the help!

Is there any way to add these categories to a menu item that isnt custom? cos when i make a custom menu i lose the “home” page and the slider at the start that shows my recent posts? annoying
