Thanks for looking but you wont see those errors on my site

I didn’t check your site; I checked my sites, where I have not made the changes that you have. And I didn’t see any errors flagged. That was the point that I was making.

    Understood

I’ve just undone the second one, the js error in webfonts on my site and the error is no longer there …..

Is it the same for you?

Let’s see if we can find out why it happens on some machines not others

For reference here is the IE8 error for this forum

    Webpage error details

This morning I rebooted the machine with the webfonts patch removed

( second described in the opening post)

The XP/IE8 yellow triangle error in the lower status bar is showing again

    Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
    Timestamp: Sat, 30 Mar 2013 10:56:27 UTC

    Message: Invalid argument.
    Line: 17
    Char: 667
    Code: 0
    URI: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/webfont/1/webfont.js

Can you check its showing on your machine? (or not)

    Then I’ll reapply the fix

I’ve put the arrows back in webfonts so the error should no longer show

If thats the fix – I guess we should leave it there
