Header image will not use featured image

The following is the code for my header.php file. Perhaps I have messed something up in the code that is causing the conflict?

Have you modified that header.php code? If not, there’s no need to post it; we’ve already got it.
If you have, just post the portion you have altered and tell us which lines they are. There’s no way we have the time to go through that code and compare it line by line to try to find your changes.

I generally prefer figuring out things on my own, as this bolsters my understanding, but I have just gotten completely stuck with this header image deal. Where can I get the original header.php file, so I can do a comparison on my own? I know the file will look different depending on my selections in the options for the theme; however, this would at least give me a baseline to identify anomalies. This would be quite beneficial. I can only imagine I must have altered the code at some point thereby jacking up my header.
I appreciate everyone’s patience, as I slowly de-newbie-ify myself.
