Header image will not use featured image

Despite ensuring the “Disable Featured Image replacing header image” is unchecked the header image will not use the the featured image for posts and pages on my site. You can see what I am speaking about here: http://believinforareason.com/. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. WARNING: I am a rookie with just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

Um…in order for the feature image to take the place of the header image, the feature image must be the exact size as your header image. And I mean exact. It can’t be off by a pixel.
What size is your header image? What size are your feature images?
Thank you for the reply. In this case my header image is 1400×198, and I have resized my featured image to be the same size to the pixel. After resetting my featured image on the page my header image is still overriding my featured image.
Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Header Display Options
Make sure the box marked “Disable Featured Image replacing header image” is NOT ticked.
BTW, your width is a bit too much for comfortable reading.
Yes, the box you are referring to is not ticked. Thank you for the feedback regarding my width. Perhaps I will modify once I get this header image thing worked out.

dedward, which page specifically are you trying to have the featured image replace the header image?

Did you choose featured image from NextGen gallery or any other gallery plugins?
