Use the “Reset to default settings” option. You can re-import the settings afterwards using the exported settings.

Ok, I reset the settings, uploaded my new header, and then imported the settings again, and it’s all good! 🙂 Thank you!!

Do you think I should do the same for my slider too – for some reason the posts aren’t displaying in the slider anymore. I’ll have a search through the forum to see if there are already threads about this.

Now that you’ve reimported the settings, try going back to the WP Admin > Appearance > Header screen and see if it’s showing the correct dimension for the header?

No, it still says “60 × 198 pixels” after reimporting.

I checked when I first reset the settings and realised it was still 60pixels. So I reset the settings a second time, so that the header size was back to 960X198, I uploaded my new header, and then imported the settings after that so that my new header was already up.

It was something in your old settings then. If you want to get rid of the problem once and for all, just do the reset, and then manually change the settings according to your previous settings.
