"Fixing" Changes in Graphene 2.0

@ms-jaguar, that looks like a cache issue. The latest update (version 2.0.2) should fix that.
@Sayir Hakim, thanks very much for the replies. Your code suggestions worked in both cases, i.e. keeping the Site Title the same color on all pages and changing the font to Arial across the entire site, at least for the body elements. You might consider adding these options to the Customization menus as I would consider them major customization elements rather than minor tweaks.
A few more questions:
- The body element seemed to work for the majority of the site, but the site menu still seems to be in the Lato font, 12 pt/16px. Using the element inspector in Firefox, the overriding element style for the menu elements is “.navbar .nav > li > a”. How should I target that element, or is there a higher level element (like body) that should override that style?
- I had some CSS code in the Additional CSS on the public site that allowed me to right justify the last menu item, the desired look when the screen is wide enough:
#header-menu-wrap #menu-item-40 { float: right; }That CSS code no longer seems to work. I verified that the element in question still has the ID menu-item-40. Am I targeting that element incorrectly or will this CSS code no longer work because of something else that has changed in the theme?
- If the site has child pages, it seems the theme has added new navigation items, one at the top of a child page that directs back to the parent when clicked and another as a widget that lists all child pages that are part of that site “section”. Where are the options to either a) style these elements and/or b) turn them on or off? I found some of them in the Graphene: Colours section of the Customization menus (one was under Buttons and Labels and the other under Archives) but nothing to turn them on or off.
- It seems that most of my questions have to do with how to target the appropriate elements in the theme, i.e. the CSS Selector names that are used for this theme’s implementation, and what styling is allowed for those elements. I can certainly use the inspector features of a browser to determine some specific elements to style, but I’m wondering if there’s a better way to see how to target the theme elements that I’m just missing. I looked through the Graphene Theme Documentation for something that outlines the CSS selectors of the theme to target for styling, but I didn’t seem to find anything. Am I missing something, or is there a sticky post in the forum that has that information? A few searches of the forums didn’t yield any results either. I’m looking for documentation similar to what Gravity Forms has provided here. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for your help!
Thank you Syahir, I hadn’t thought of Cloudflare. I’ve cleared that cache and upgraded to 2.0.2 and looks much better.
I love the purple top bar and the new social media icons. Now I need a new header image… I’ve actually been meaning to do that for a while so now’s a good time for me to do that.
Really appreciate your help and patience with me. Cheers from down under 🙂
