SoundCloud is Flash? Yup, that might be the problem. If you have control over the SoundCloud player at all, there is a suggestion here that might work.
Hi Ricardo,
Make your object tags for your soundcloud look similar to this:
<object width="100%" height="81"><param value="http://player.soundcloud.com/player.swf?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F20240704&g=1&auto_play=false&show_comments=false&color=dc3e00&theme_color=" name="movie"><param value="always" name="allowscriptaccess"><embed width="100%" height="81" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://player.soundcloud.com/player.swf?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F20240704&g=1&auto_play=false&show_comments=false&color=dc3e00&theme_color=" allowscriptaccess="always" wmode="transparent"> </object>
Notice the
wmode="transparent"
toward the end.You are the best! I have a special plugin for SoundCloud, this means I only have to add a shortcode and the plugin takes care of my other settings (color etc.). I have found this tutorial from someone who had the same problem and he also found a fix 🙂

Thanks for helping me find the answer!
Hmm… that’s cool. I use soundcloud on my site as well to play my personal guitar and piano recordings:

It’s the best alternative I could find to displaying a playlist of music with all titles visible. I also like how it keeps count of how many times each file was played, and displays it publicly.
I embed it directly with the code provided by soundcloud, as I wasn’t aware there was a plugin for this…. I’m off to check it out now. Maybe it’ll add some new customization features previously unavailable 🙂
Thanks Ricardo!
