I switched to the ‘DISQUS’ commenting system today, but I encountered a small problem:

When you click the ‘like’ button (http://fastforwardandrewind.com/5096/david-guetta-titanium-ft-sia-eos-remix/) a balloon appears that give you a choice between Twitter and Facebook, only it isn’t on top so my SoundCloud player overlaps it.

I’ve tried changed the position but that didn’t help. Anny ideas? 🙂

Okay, I didn’t see that before; now I do.

Your CSS is a little difficult for me to follow, but what I can see is that the pop-up window you’re talking about is defined by this div:

<div id="dsq-share-step-1" class="dsq-share-step" style="display: block ! important;">

Try adding a z-index to either the id or the class (probably the class, but I may be wrong) to make it float on top. There’s a good intro to CSS layers here. Let me know how it goes.

This balloon is really persistent! This doesn’t work (which, in theory should):

position:absolute;

left:0px;

top:0px;

z-index:-1;

}

More ideas to force it on top?

I have already tried different values instead of 1, and they all didn’t work. Adding it to the class also didn’t work.

That should work, unless there is something further done in the CSS that is overriding that.

Hmm, could the problem lie in the (flash based) SoundCloud player?
