Good news, its all back to normal! site is working fine, thanks for all your help and patience.. i still can’t figure out the footer image, but thats a small thing now in comparison to loosing the entire site!!
Hi Parasnna,
I managed to locate the phpMyAdmin panel, and i have followed the steps, changing the site url to http://www.elliottwaveireland.com/blog and the home to http://www.elliottwaveireland.com
I dont know what i should do in the wp-config file, what do you mean “update wp-config file with calling header from /blog”
thanking you,
thanks Parasnna, I had it all fixed up and ready to go live, and just during the week i moved the contents of my bog else where and this is what caused the problem.. i hope i can fix it fast..only problem is that i didn’t have wordpress installed from my hosting provider i uploaded it myself to the server.
I cant seem to see phpMyAdmin anywhere in my control panel, however i have found an option to install wordpress as an application with my hosting provider, should i do this? or would that cause more problems?
is phpMyAdmin a piece of software?
thanks you Prasanna, How do i edit the database using phpMyAdmin??
i can’t access my wp-admin panel either! i must have done something completely wrong! any advice greatly appreciated… think i might have to start from scratch again!! 🙁
Kenneth, If you wouldn’t mind taking a look at this http://www.elliottwaveireland.com/
dont know what i’ve done, but my site looks like this now! has it something to do with the style sheet?
thanks yet again Kenneth 🙂
going a bit off subject now, but i have another confusing issue..
I have my entire wordpress site stored in a folder on the server called blog, i want the wordpress site to load when the url is entered..will i take out all the contents of the blog folder and put them into the httpdocs folder??
Thanks Kenneth, I’ll give it a go..
