    Thanks for replying back.

    May be its was due to the limit Twitter has setup (150 requests per hours).

    I am using The TwitterBlender Plugin now and it works perfectly and it also tells how many Twitter api requests you are left with.

    no other twitter plugin worked for me on IE8.
