OK yes I should have been more clear. I have tried the above solution and my logo is bigger than the 960 x 198 image. Also when I do try this step above my logo becomes the entire header.
What I require is to upload a small logo on the left hand side of the header. Say where the typing would go when you type in the name of your website.
