  • ok.. found a solution. the plugin “sharebar” adds actually a “facebook share”-button… but now im struggling to find a way on how to move all of the share-buttons to position 1 on the below picture, and if that’s not possible, then how do i move it to position 2 on this picture (this is from my site, obviously):

    buttonsmove.jpg

    here is the plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sharebar/

where in the graphic theme do i adjust that, or do i adjust that in the sharebar.php (plugins editor file), perhaps?

sorry that im a noob when it comes to this, but i just want to learn this so i know what to do next time…

In reply to: How to manually add Facebook share-button in single.php-file..?

    it says 1.3 …

yes, but i already have THAT on my site. the deal and whole idea is that i want a SHARE button too, so people can actually SHARE the content ON their wall etc instead of just having it show up on a newsfeed. like 9gag… when you view on a picture, they’ve got this line in place above the picture:

    fbookshare.jpg

i want that line to be presented on my page as well. but so far i have only managed to add all other buttons EXCEPT the “facebook share”-button, which actually lets one post the content on the page on their wall AND show up on their newsfeed, while the “facebook like”-button, the one you linked to, will just show up in the newsfeed and NOT be posted on the users wall. it’s practical and easy, but since facebook have removed the share-button code from their page, i’ve yet to find ANY way to find a “facebook share”-button code to use on my website with graphene theme. i have tried several plugins, but none seems to be doing the job as it should. and MOST of the plugins ONLY add “facebook like”-button and “facebook send”-button, which neither holds the same function as the “facebook share”-button…

soe yeah… apparently there is no way for me to get that kind of a button in place then…

    ah, i understand. thanks.

well, i just looked at that site you mentioned… hmm hmm… i cannot create an action hook widget because i cannot locate this: “My first step was to go the the “Advanced” pane of the Graphene Options area in my WordPress Dashboard. I clicked on “loop.php” and all the action hooks in that file appeared.” – now, where is that area..? cannot find that loop.php… hmm..

but, i just encountered another “problem” with that above method… i STILL cannot find a FACEBOOK SHARE-button that i can add to that php widget (as described in that link) – AddThis-plugin which he recommends adds ONLY “like” and “recommend”, which does NOT have the “share”-function as the one on 9gag does! gaaah so complicated this outta be… :/

aah! NOW we are talking, yes! yep, that is what i have also tried, but ok, i will give it another try.

NOW i am wondering how i can make a counter for EACH of the buttons… like 9gag has. 🙂 should i just use this after each button-code:

    will that do the trick..?

thank you for helping out! MUCH appreciated! been looking for a solution for ages, and now i’ve seemingly found one!
