  • Sigh…it did not work. Stayed exactly the same. Well, I must sleep, my hours are long. If you think of something let me know.

    I usually have it in maintenance mode, but I will leave it open for the night just in case you want to look at it. Maybe I need to change something in the settings? Some other conflict?

    I am using a child theme.

    When I tried to test the comments functions by posting a test comment, the submit button was unresponsive and the post would not submit. Just did nothing. Could it be related somehow…a whole comment section thing? Could it be something silly like my settings aren’t correct? I don’t know, just stabbing in the dark.

    Thank you so much for your time and patience. You and your efforts are greatly appreciated!

    Can I just take this out <a href="#loginwithajax">logged in</a> to remove the link portion and change the wording to something like “Please register/login above to post a comment” ?

    Tried 5 and 6…neither worked

    The one on the homepage is in the “front page sidebar widget area” the other is in the plain old “sidebar widget area”.

    Well, I tried uploading a picture to my media library and used the http// that was generated and replaced as shown above, but it didn’t work. I guess since the original arrow changes color when the menu drops down, I thought it could be easily changed. Maybe it would be easier to just get rid of it, but I like having the option of it being obvious that there is a list in some menu items. Many of my users may be older “the obvious” indications may be helpful to them.

    Can’t seem to make the drop-down box width smaller either…tried using the Graphene option but it did not respond to any size I put in.

    Tried this but it didn’t work to direct to Ajax Login…sigh. I know you guys are busy…so I can be patient on this. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you!

    <?php
    function graphene_custom_comment_form_args( $args ){

    $args['must_log_in'] = 'You must be <a href="#LoginWithAjax">logged in</a> to post a comment.';

    return $args;
    }
    add_filter( 'graphene_comment_form_args', 'graphene_custom_comment_form_args' );
    ?>

    “You must be logged in to post a comment” then Iรขโ‚ฌโ„ขm redirected to standard background WordPress admin login screen.

    I am using Login with Ajax and also do not want the link in the sentence to do the above.

    Can I just remove the link and/or change the link destination or just the wording of the prompt (without the link) to direct users to the Ajax Register/Login at the top of the page? I do want users to login to post so I have chosen that option in settings, just want them directed to the Ajax Login, not the WordPress Login.

    What would you fine brainiacs recommend? ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks again!

    Also, can someone give me an example code for targeting specific widget boxes to show no borders? I don’t want to have widget borders around my ads when I place them as it often creates two lines (as they often have them), or they just looks, well, “boxed in”.

    Oh…I’m sorry, I think Josh answered this in a previous post. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet (keep getting interrupted) will mark it as resolved when I have. I was very tired last night and forgot I had it in my favorites.

    Just need the arrow color solution…no rush…I know you are all very busy with this new update and more pressing questions/troubles than that. ๐Ÿ™‚

    OMG! Just saw this! Happy Belated B-Day Josh and thanks for all your help!

    I have the same kind of bond with my daughter…she is now 21yrs old and lives out of state with my mom and grandma while she attends college. Not a day goes by that we aren’t together…God Bless Skype! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Not enough though…working on a move (hopefully with the help of my website) to be nearer to her, at her request (demand). So thanks again to you and everyone here for your continuing patience, guidance and advice.

    It’s nice to see I’m not the only parent that is COMPLETELY enmeshed! Wouldn’t have it any other way! She is the best friend I ever had!

    Many blessings to you both!
