Thank you, Ken. This is a great post on your website.
I have read, tried and done.
If we can get together, the drinks are from me. 🙂
Yep. You are right. I’ve done a total mess. And made my life complicated. 🙁
After some hours digging in the .css I’ve found a solution. You can check how it looks now on my site, if you like.
To the other guys in the thread: Dont try this at home. 🙂 It is solvable, but really time consuming.

Hi, Ken,
Thanks for your reply.
My version is 1.6, but I have to put some of the old files/style.css incl./ in order to have new functionality and old outlook. But there are some issues like this with comments button. I’ll try to fix it, but up to now it is showing only submit and not recognize it as a button. I dont know if its Graphene’s .php or WordPress’?
🙁
Thank you, Syahir.
By the way Graphene is a great theme!

Thank you, Josh.
Very helpful.
It would work and I would do it, if no other way.
But is there a way to make wordpress not to put any css code in the page html?
If you know I would appreciate. 😉
Thanks Jorro.
Hi, Josh,
Thank you for the reply.
The problem here is that I changed the Style.css but wordpress is putting some css in the page source code, which has some higher priority. 🙁
And I would like to fix that.
Jorro.
Ken,
By the way in your post I saw only picture. There were no links:
You will see a link to the original styles.css file, plus you will see some actual CSS code, which is generated by the Graphene options. You may also see some other CSS code which is generated by plugins.
Jorro.
Thanks for your kind reply.
You can check for example here: http://www.msmarteam.eu/Google/category/google/glava-iv-prakticheski-orientirana-chast/.
And you can see the difference between the “Category Archive” and the sidebar colors. ;(
If you check the source code there is also difference between Style.css and page html:
html of the page:
.page-title {
-pie-background: linear-gradient(left top, #0F2D4D, #2880C3 );
background: #0F2D4D;
background: -moz-linear-gradient(left top, #0F2D4D, #2880C3 );
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(left top, #0F2D4D, #2880C3 );
background: linear-gradient(left top, #0F2D4D, #2880C3 );
and Style.css:
.page-title {
background: #3300cc;
background: -moz-linear-gradient(#3300cc, #6699ff);
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(#3300cc, #6699ff);
background: linear-gradient(#3300cc, #6699ff);
border-bottom: 1px solid #3300cc;
…
}
Is there any solution?
Thanks,
Jorro
