I’m afraid I guess I did not understand well.

but I only put 2 files inside the child theme.

1)style.css

2)functions.php

I did not put the HTML file.

That’s sound weird.

I double checked the “style.css” inside the child theme folder.

Is there any problem in the file type?

I made the css file with text editor called “TeraPad”.

As you mentioned,

I uploaded the the child theme with FTP.

Using through WP-admin is new way for the child theme.

But .. as I said…there is still the problem doesn’t solved.

I tried..

make the child theme to zipfile and installed it through WP-admin,

and then, activated.

But .. still the problem doesn’t solved…
