True, but there is a lot of complexity behind the simplicity of Graphene.

Of course! That’s part of what makes it amazing. Not only is it powerful, but it’s very easy to explore and deploy great ideas quickly. That’s unusual, and a sign of a lot of forethought and sweat equity.

There’s no easy way (not yet, at least) to do what you’re talking about.

I completely understand. I’m not looking for the “quick fix” today. I know it’s a process, and not an easy one. I thought I’d put in my two cents, perhaps offer a different perspective that might make developing this request a bit easier.

And I like that Color Scheme Designer!

    Thanks Kenneth!

I’m new, but learning quickly. I’ve found simplicity is beautiful, and it’s one of the many reasons I’m thrilled with Graphene. 98% of my desired outcomes are a just few mouse clicks away!

Personally, I’d like to see an easy solution for the non-coder, which is why I chose to post this in Feature Requests. I can work around it in the meantime, but it sure would be a nice to have.

For example, there’s a link to ColourLovers web site. I’ve found several palettes that suit the need, and on certain palettes registered users can download them in various formats.

It would be nice to download (say, in .zip format) from ColourLovers and upload to a new color preset, treating it like a plugin. I would think that additional Graphene color customization would be easy from there.

For the end user, it would be a simple, elegant, and fast way to get the desired palette(s).

Thanks again for the wonderful work and the quick reply.

I see someone else had the same request, so I’ll piggyback here rather than start a new thread.

Under Graphene Options, Display tab, Colors Options, there is a drop-down box entitled Colour presets.

Currently, there are four options: Default, Dream Magnet, Curiousity Killed, and Zesty Orange.

I would like the ability to save a new preset (preferably more than one).

This would allow me to make modifications and ensure they are saved and accessible for later use. I could then experiment with several additional palettes easily.

    Thanks!
