Using firebug, I see that the css

If I change the margin-top to a negative value, the text moves up (again on posts as well as pages) but the lines of text also become super-imposed on each other, obviously not ideal.
I would really appreciate any other ideas.
also, the changes to .entry-content moves the text up in posts on my homepage. The extra space is a problem only on individual pages.
I played around with the value a lot, I could get it to move down with a positive number, but a negative number did nothing, no mater how negative.
Thanks for the suggestion… it didn’t work 🙁
If I made the margin a positive number, it would move down, but a negative number wouldn’t move the text up.
