    Thank you, Ken. Yes, hopefully, there will be other plugins to replace any that might not be compatible. I appreciate your observations. It might be a while yet before I update, but I’ll be in touch once I have done so.

    Thanks, Ken and Syahir, for your guidance so far. I’m looking closely at this. Ken, I have added my URL to my profile, so please take a look and let me know if I can reasonably expect that an upgrade to 1.4.1 will retain what I have there. I didn’t change the theme’s code at any stage.

    Thanks, Ken. I have no technical expertise whatsoever. Changing anything scares me to death. I see so many reports of problems that arise when changing from one theme to another.

    I’m not in a position to remedy anything that might go wrong in the process, and I don’t have enough time to sit on forums to get answers that will need technical know-how to implement.

    If I change from 1.0.7 to 1.4, will this lose or change anything in my sidebar? Will it lose any of my existing pages? Would it help to see my blog to respond to these questions?
