    It probably is an older version. The owner hasn’t used the blog since 2010, and I am going to update it for him.

    I didn’t modify anything. I literally went to WordPress found the theme, clicked install and got the error messages.

    Where would I get the functions files? How would I upload them if I can’t get into WP at all? And where do I want to put them? Sorry…a little above my skill level.
