Widgets and Menu Not Working
-
I have setup Graphene mobile theme to my website : http://www.travelpandaz.com
When I activate Graphene mobile theme, I change my widgets (Graphine Mobile Header) to some text and it’s working. I have also setup the menus in Graphine Mobile Header Menu and Graphine Mobile Footer Menu, it’s working great too.
However, I found a problem. When I try to switch back and activate to my desktop theme, tried to open my website using iPhone, the widgets are not showing and the menus change to default settings. I find this really strange.
Can you help solving this issue? It’s very strange behaviour.
Thanks
Andre
Another question..
How do I resize the images in mobile version?
Taking a look at one of my post in mobile version:
http://travelpandaz.com/things-to-do-when-your-flight-is-delayed/
The featured image is large and the other images are showing : “?”
I tried enabling Transcoding in MobileSmart and have setup the cache folder to 777 and yet there are no changes. Help please.
This is what the menu and widget should be when Graphine mobile theme is activated…

But when the desktop theme is activated, the widget is not showing and the menu is changed to default.

About this, I turned off transcoding in MobileSmart and everything running well. So, the transcode is the culprit..

Quote:When I activate Graphene mobile themeDon’t activate the mobile theme, as it is automatically loaded by the desktop theme. If you’ve installed it properly, you’ll see that there’s the Graphene Mobile options under WP Admin > Appearance.

So, how do you setup the custom menus and widgets when yo don’t activate the mobile theme first?
I see the Graphene mobile options but it’s for color customization and else (not for menu and widgets). Did I do the steps wrong?

For menu, you’ll see that there are two new menu locations specific for the mobile theme. There’s no mobile-specific setting for widgets though (not yet, at least).
