I want to thank you for providing this forum. WordPress is difficult to search with so many projects in the mix. I found the answer to my question while using your search function… soooo pleased!
My question was in regard to changing the widget link color. I use firebug and web developer tools and the specific CSS remained illusive.

I wanted my widgets to be a dark color and default link colors were blending in.
