Website Left Justified

  • Anonymous

    Hi I am not sure what happened but my website is not centered on the page anymore.

    Any Idea:

    I also need to know how to change the page names that are in blue to red.

    Hmmm… It is fine now 🙂

    To change page/post names, add this to your custom css:

    .post-title, .post-title a {
    color: #FF0000;

    I was wrong about the left justification. It comes up OK then becomes left justified after a few minutes.

    Yes, I also still see the error in justification. Do you happen to edit the theme files or something? It is only the first page so I think it has to do with one of those ads you posted at the bottom of the page. Did you have justification for any of them? How about justification tags on the first page texts? Make sure the open tags are closed properly as well.

    Another thing… I noticed that you have a translation drop down at the top. It looks like Google Translate but without the Google banner. Is it a plug-in or a custom one? Thanks.

    Thanks for the idea, i did mess around with the positioning in the Graphen Theme Options so I will check the last things I had done.

    The translator is a plug-in called “gtrans” it is great if you market internationally. I use it for translating sites to Business English. I translate from their language to English and then correct all the grammatical errors. Works great.

    I am not a coder so I tend to make mistakes with closing codes etc…self taught-what can I say.

    Something is adding this inline style into the theme’s <body> element:

    position: relative; min-height: 100%; top: 0px; width: 250px;

    That’s what causing your site to be left-justified. Did you by any chance modified any of the theme’s files? If not, try disabling your plugins and see if the site is centered again.

    Also, you might wanna change the box shadow of the widgets to a darker colour, so that they fit better into your site’s colour scheme.

    The developer of your theme is a self-taught web developer as well! I have never attended any classes with respect to web development. A lot of developers are like that.

    Thaks I ws going through each one trying to figure out what was wrong in the code, disabling one at a time will be so much easier…thanks so much…you guys are great

    It ended up being a widget. No matter how many time I redid it, it left justified the entire website. I deleted it and had the same issue on a rebuild so I just change how I was doing the entire thing and went without that specific text box. I was doing it through Kompozer which I used for all the others so I have no idea what was going on.

    Thanks and you can close this now.
