Using an external Image in a post for the Slider image.

    I have images in my posts that are external images, and I want the slider to show these images.

    I have set the options to use First Image in Post, and I only have one individual image in each post, this appears Ok in the post, but it shows no image on the slider.

    I know that it works OK for images that are self hosted and linked to my posts, but not sure if this is available for non linked images.

    Theme Slider Options are:

    Show random posts

    First Image in Post

    Thumbnail and Excerpt

    Slider Options in Post

    First Image in Post

    Any ideas ?

    The slider will not display images that are not on your own site. I once tried pulling in images from my own subdomain, and that wouldn’t work. AFAIK, it needs to use images that are contained within your WordPress install.
