Title Border problem

  • NickOGS20

    I’m experiencing a slight problem with the border underneath page/post titles. Having tinkered with the font/size, when a title goes onto a second line, the border appears underneath both lines, which looks really messy (as shown here – http://manunitedyouth.com/2011/08/u18s-united-1-portsmouth-2-pompey-pinch-the-points-on-opening-day/). Any ideas how to sort that out so it’s just a single border underneath the whole title would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m getting a 404 error on the link you provided.

    What code are you using to generate the border? You might want to try something like this:

    .post-title, .entry-title {border style;}

    rather than styling a heading element directly.

    Ah, my bad, that closing bracket was messing with the link – http://manunitedyouth.com/2011/08/u18s-united-1-portsmouth-2-pompey-pinch-the-points-on-opening-day/

    The code is the default css below (I’ve only changed the font (to 25px tahoma) and added ‘text-transform: uppercase;’)

    .post-title a,

    .post-title a:visited {

    border-bottom: 1px solid #e3e3e3;

    font: 18px arial;

    padding-bottom: 5px;

    Yes, try this in custom CSS:

    .post-title a, .post-title a:visited {border:0px;}

    This way, the border gets applied just to the title and not to the actual text.

    Fantastic, thanks very much!
