Hello, my site is http://www.staircasesmanchester.com I have a problem with the menu title appearing on the content page and I can’t find out how to delete this. I wonder if you could help with this please.

If you are using a custom menu, you can edit that menu.

I’m not quite sure what you are talking about here. Are you referring to the menu item “Staircases Manchester” with the “Gallery” child item?

Thank you for the prompt reply. Please bear with me because I’m fairly new to WordPress. On my site if you look on the home page just above the image you will see the h1 title Staircase Manchester. Just above that and to the left – in a blue font – you will see Staircases Manchester again – it’s this that I want to remove please.

I got an email reply to the above question but the link within took me back here again?

That’s probably because you ticked the box labeled “Notify me of follow-up posts via email” – useful in you don’t check in to the forum very often.

I see what you are talking about now. WordPress automatically puts the post title into the post. There’s no need for you to enter it in the content of your post.

If you want to style that automatic post title, it’s been discussed in this forum several times. When you’re ready, take a look around and you’ll find it.

BT/DT — we all were at one point. Welcome aboard.
