Three column format gets skewed.

I have a problem that happens frequently involving sites using a three column layout. Occasionally a page or post will skew the site and move all the posts (middle column) and right side column and stack them rather than put them in columns.

Most of the time I’m able to fix it by going to my last post and adjusting it, and republishing it. Today, I was ready to launch this new site (www.mickeyopolis.com) and it did it again.

If you look, the three columns are stacked along the left side of the theme, with the first being compressed.

I’d only made a few changes and postings today, and nothing I seem to do fixes it.

I’m going to walk away from it for a bit, because I’ve really ‘hit the wall’, but I’m wondering if I’m doing something consistently that is causing this to happen?

    I would appreciate any thoughts.

As a follow up. Just clicking through and the main page came up perfectly. Then it went south again and I’d done nothing. Bizarre.

    OK, this may be solved.

I went to my host (Bluehost) and from my control panel I upgraded my PHP from 5.2 to 5.4. Once I did, everything seems to be working fine. I’ll consider this closed for now, but I’d be curious if any of you think this COULD have been the source of the problem?

    Thanks!

Moved to Support and marking thread as resolved. You can do this yourself as well.

It really sounds more like a CSS issue, rather than a PHP issue, but since every server is different, it’s possible. If it pops again, then it wasn’t necessarily a PHP issue.

For those who are interested, the PHP5 changelog is here: http://php.net/ChangeLog-5.php
