Can anyone tell me how many pixels wide the theme is? I’m trying to control the display of a table plugin and am creating placeholders. I need them to ‘add up’ to the theme width but need to know the max width to do it.

Well, the current width of the container is 960px. The actual width of the content area depends upon how many sidebars you are using.

You can identify the width of various elements by using Firebug or by looking at the theme’s style sheet.

The width of the theme will be flexible in the next update. If you change the width, you will need to update your plugin settings.
