theme Update

Hi, I see there is an update available 1.8, there is a note saying “Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost. Please consider using child themes for modifications.”

Being a newbie i have never used a child theme, If I update does this mean I will lose my colors, header size ect ect? if so can i save my personal settings and then update?

Also is there anything new?

The only changes you will lose are any changes you made to CORE graphene files.

Some people like to grab a theme… and begin tearing into the code. Move this here… put that there… etc.

It is modifying this source code that will be lost when you update the theme.

All of your options in the Graphene Theme Options Panel will be preserved.

Go ahead… hit that update button!! We’ve been waiting for this one 😉

Good day!

My website is http://www.nuevavidanatural.com.

I use a child theme and just did the update to 1.8. and since that, unfortunately, the miniature pictures on the slidebar are not visible anymore. I didn’t change anything on the settings. Do you have any idea what might have happened and how to fix it?

Try re-saving each of the posts/pages that are displayed in the slider.
