Hi,

I am using the Graphene theme for my site (www.choicecompany.nl) and I am very pleased with it. Thank you for the nice theme, the possibilities, and the easy to use interface.

I have checked and later unchecked the box: graphene theme options -> Display -> Excerpts Display Options -> ‘Show excerpts in front page’

What happened is that the post (there is only one post) disappeared and that a summary appeared two times. That was not what I was looking for and therefor I unchecked the box. The result was that the post returned and that at the bottom of the page the summary was still visible. I am not able to remove it.

Can you help me?

I think you need to use a static home page to achieve your goal.

Thank you for your answer.

Browsing on the internet I found some reading about it (the static page). I tried it. However, it became worse: The Summary was shown double at the bottom of the page.

Do you have another suggestion?

I found out that the summary was a post slider. After disabeling the slider. The summary was gone. Incident solved.
