    hello!

I have a question that i guess us really easy if you know WP ๐Ÿ™‚

Im trying to built a site where I have 1 main/satitc page and one sidebar…

I would like to use the widgets (for ex a poll or some image widget) on the static page also not just in the sidebar… but how do you do this… its so easy just to drag and drop them there… but how do you get up the “page” as a “drag and drop choice as well”

or cant you use widgets on a static page?

You can use widgets on static pages as well. All sidebar widgets will appear on front page unless you disabled the sidebar on frontpage.. (I’m using static front page in my site. Of course, widgets too..)

Just drag and drop widgets into the sidebar. (Same statement – All sidebar widgets will appear on front page unless you disabled the sidebar..)

but how do you get up the “page” as a “drag and drop choice as well”

If you want your widgets to appear on some regions other than sidebar, like after comment form or before slider, you can use Graphene Action Hook Widgets.

Ken have a good tutorial on using Graphene Action Hook Widgets – Graphene Action Hook Widgets รขโ‚ฌโ€œ an easy way to modify your blog

You can use the Widget Logic plugin to control where widgets appear.
