I’m really enjoying this theme. It’s beautiful and I’m impressed with everything it does.
I am trying to create a static home page for my site. The home page is built into the theme and I can’t use the static home page instructions at the WordPress Codex. How can I have both a static front page and a blog with this theme?
Yes, you can create a static home page for your site, as per the instructions at the WordPress Codex. The only issue now is that if you use the default menu, there’ll be a hardcoded Home link in the menu. This will be fixed in the next update.
Yes, that’s exactly what I was getting at: I can, of course, follow the Codex instructions, but then I have the spare Home link, which looks silly. When is the next update coming out that will fix this?
Never mind; I see the answer in the Home Tab question. Thanks!
