Hello All,

I am managing a website, and I have a small problem that I believe can be solved.

We are trying to sort the categories by the recency that they have updated. That is, when a new post is added to a category, I want to see the name of that category on the top of the list. Now, although I unchecked show hierarchy button, it still sorts by alphabetical order.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance,

It is possible using a child theme. Have you set up a child theme yet?

No, I haven’t created a child theme yet. However, I guess, when Ä° create it, I will also create a functions.php that will contain the code you have suggested, right?
