Social sharing buttons not saving the code.

Hi. I update to 1.4 version and try to check the new option for the social sharing buttons location. I set the value to ‘both top and bottom’ and click ‘Save Options’

Later I check and the ‘Your social sharing button code’ content is missing. Try several times to set something there, and the result is the same.

I try to set the configuration with the lastest Opera and Firefox versions.

    Thanks

By the way … The code that I try to insert on the ‘Your social sharing button code’ is the tags +1 from google

    <g:plusone></g:plusone>

It worked fine with the previous version.

    Thanks

Please replace the theme’s functions.php and admin/validator.php files with the updated ones here:

    http://graphene.googlecode.com/svn-history/r164/trunk/graphene/functions.php

    http://graphene.googlecode.com/svn-history/r164/trunk/graphene/admin/validator.php

After replace the 2 files. this warning appears on the top of ‘Graphene Theme Options’

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/content/l/e/s/leslierhs/html/npng/wp-content/themes/graphene/admin/options.php on line 78

After trying to save … some options were reseted, including the custom css. 😛

Hurm..would you mind giving me FTP access to your server as well as access to the WP Admin? It would greatly help in troubleshooting the error, since the errors/warnings are not happening in my development server.

You can send me the details using the contact form on my website: http://direct.khairul-syahir.com/contact-me

by now, I will try to reinstall the theme in some way, in order to set the options again.

After that I’ll be back with feedback.

    Thanks.

done. Some settings are back, after set the old files again. The site is working properly except for 2 issues:

1. the social sharing options continue not saving the content/code.

    2. I use the Google Analytics Options to set: google analytics javascript, meta tag from yahoo, meta tag from bing and the +1 button javascript. I set this again, but after save, only the javascript was saved. The bing and yahoo meta tags are not saved. I use this because this tags must be around the analytics/+1 code (before the </head> tag). Made this in this way, so I can avoid editing your theme files, everytime the theme has a update.

Confirm bug on brand new install of WP3.2.1 using Graphene 1.4 – Something is definitively stripping code it doesn’t like from the box before saving. As yet unable to identify what.

Get the same result with the G+1 code but it also strips additional sections from Twitter code as well:

    <a href="http://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button" data-url="[#post-url]" data-count="horizontal" data-via="username">Tweet</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

    Becomes:

    <a href="http://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button">Tweet</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

Code worked previously when testing earlier versions of the theme

Version 1.4.1 fixes a number of bugs, including the one you mentioned. I’ve already submitted it to the theme repository. Will probably take a day or two before it is made live.

Hang on and sit tight 🙂

Excellent to hear. Still in texting and config phase at this point so I can wait a few days for this part to play ball again
