Hi,

I am trying to use the Social Media Icon to add a link to webmail for my site members but it the ico looks too small in IE and too large in Firefox… what is the correct size to download from Icon finder?

The icon size should be 32×32 pixels. When you do a search for icons on iconfinder.com, you can set the size filter so that the results show only the icons of that size.

Thanks Syahir – there is something wrong with the way that Firefox displays this icon… it appears tiny. IE9 seems to show it correctly.

Take a look at my site – it is the icon next to the Facebook icon in the top left corner.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Love the rest of your work though!!!

The icon that you’re using has a 16×16 pixels size. Try another one with 32×32 pixels size, and use .png instead of .ico.

Actually it was a 32 by 32 icon, and it displayed correctly in IE but Firefox displayed it as a 16 by 16 – weird!!

Anyway, I downloaded the .png and it works in both browsers – so many thanks!
