    Dear All,

My Slider just stopped working after I updated my Graphene Theme from version 1.8.4 to 1.9. All plugins are off… does anybody have better idea how I could make it up and running again?

    My site is here:

    Thanks.

Some newsletter plugin is loading jQuery from here http://cdn.marketingszoftverek.hu/sw/scripts/jquery-1.8.1.min.js

I think it’s the first widget in sidebar. Remove it (widget & plugin) and check if it resolves the slider issue.

Edit: Try removing newsletter from your frontpage.

    Hi Prasanna,

    Thanks for the reply.

It was not my widget but the most important element on my home page – the “subscribe to my newsletter” form contains the jquery code.

Now what should I do? I need the subscription form.

    Thank you in advance.

Try asking the support for the newsletter form to see if there’s a way to not load jQuery as it’s already been loaded in WordPress.

    Dear Syahir,

I deleted the form from my home page and saved the page, then simply pasted it back and resaved the page, and tadaammm… Slider is now working. So I don’t know how but it is now solved itself. 🙂

(By the way, the Customer Service of my e-mail marketing provider told me that if WP loads jQuery automatically then the subscription form should work without loading its own jQuery from their CDN sever so I can delete the line.)

Anyway, thank you… Graphene and its support is THE BEST! 🙂

    Adrian
