Slider on the Home Page

  • jdonham

    This may have already been answered but I could not locate it.

    The slider is great on the front page, but I wanted to hide the posts that go directly underneath. It seems a bit redundant for what I am doing with it, but I don’t want to lose the slider as a side-effect.

    Thank you for any advice you can share.

    Enable Slider and use static frontpage. Then hide static frontpage using Custom CSS.

    #post-123 {
    display: none;

    Where #post-123 is the ID of your static frontpage.

    I understand the concept of doing this, however, at the risk of sounding like a newb, this theme is pretty large. Am I adding this to the editor, one of the Graphene options, menus?

    A little more clarity would be great. I do appreciate you responding so quickly to my first post though.

    You enable the slider through Graphene options.

    You can add Prasanna’s code to Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Custom CSS
