slider not working properly

    Hi, I’m new to Graphene and new to wordpress, and have struggled to find a theme with a slider that works (probably my error!). I like the Graphene theme, but can’t seem to get the slider the show the images properly. It’s taking a small piece my featured image and zooming in on that image to display it in the header. This is happening when the “Slider Display Style” is set to “background image and excerpt”. It works correctly with the “thumbnail and excerpt”, but I would like the slider to display a full image. Please help (and dumb it down for newbie if you don’t mind)! Thanks!

    I was able to correct it by changing the scaling of the original photo. I didn’t think of that initially! It’s a huge learning process for me. Thanks!
