Slider Issues!

    Hi,

    Firstly – let me add my thanks for the theme! Love it, and it’s made my journey into building a website so much easier!

    I’ve spent a few days fine tuning things to make my slider the full page width, and love it. However I’m currently trying to change my homepage from 2 columns (where the adapted slider worked fine) to three, and the slider is shifting across to the right hand side, as though it’s wanting to stay above my two columns.

    The site can be seen at http://www.smartfest.org.uk

    Any suggestions on how to put it across all three?

    Hi,

    I know you are waiting for answer and not a question.I am just starting with Graphene and definitely I am not able to answer it. But I thought I might ask you this if you don’t mind. I don’t know how to put pictures in the slider when there are only four options to show in the slider and none is pictures. And if it is not very complicated how did you make it full width, please?

    Thank you for any advice.

    @CCW

    I know you are just beginning, but please don’t hijack another’s thread. You are welcome to start a new thread if you have a new question. (Both of these topics have been discussed a lot in this forum; if you take a good look around I’m sure that you’ll find out how to get started.)

    @danrichards

    It’s almost impossible to tell without seeing this in action on your blog. Sometimes you just have to live with the ugly until we get it figured out.

    Hi Ken;

    Sorry – I changed it back this morning as the blogs aimed at drawing in traffic for a festival we’re holding! I’ve change the page option back to the 3 columns however (visible at http://smartfest.org.uk/) and the issue’s still prevelant.

    Try adding this to your custom CSS:

    .featured_slider {
    left: -210px;
    }

    It’s only a hack, not a fix, but it will look okay for now. It would still be better to know why it’s doing this in the first place.
