Hey Everyone. I have had a major headache as of late with my slider images on my website, thebaycave.com.
I increased the width of my site and ever since then the images are not filling up the width of the slider or they are coming up short. I know that the width is at 750 when I inspect the element, but even with putting in an image that is right at 750 it seems like it shrinks it.
I have read multiple posts about the slider on this forum but none have helped out.
When you upload an image into WordPress, multiple copies of it were made, each of which correspond to a number of image sizes which were defined by WordPress, themes, and plugins. Your slider images were sized to fit your previous slider size. When you change the width of the theme and hence the slider width, the images are not automatically resized to fit the new size of the slider.
You can fix this simply by regenerating the thumbnails of those images. The AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin is a great tool for this.
Syahir, thanks for responding. I have tried the plugin and it is still doing the same thing. You can see my issue with the third slider image.
CORRECTION: I had to use a URL. It’s a business site so had to switch to URL. I can’t have it looking ugly :(.
But if I can still get some assistance, that would be great.
