    Hi,

    I just wanted to display a set of images full size in the slider, either by pulling through in posts or by pulling the images directly.

    In addition, I wanted to be able to disable the slider images from being clicked, so that the post or image is not navigated to.

    Has anyone done anything like this before?

    If all you want to do is display images, you may be better off forgoing the built-in Graphene slider, and using a dedicated photo slider, such as Meteor Slides.

    thanks for the advice Kenneth

    but if I did use the Graphene slider to display image + text from a post, is there a way to disable clicking the slider, so it doesn’t take the user to the post?

    kind regards

    You can try to disable href (links) with jquery. It won’t remove links, will only disable click event so visitors won’t be able to open post.

    Something like this:

    $('#myLink').click(function(e) {
    e.preventDefault();
    //do other stuff when a click happens
    });

    Replace #myLink with proper Graphene Slider ID or class.

    If you need tips for adding jquery to site you can refer to this:
