Apologies if you have already covered this. I am displaying both photo and an excerpt in my slider. The excerpt portion has a dark overlaying color and I would like to know how I can change that to either be removed or more transparant. I have searched the plug-ins and haven’t been able to find anything that gives more control over the excerpt. I am using the Graphene theme and my site is http://www.lifeatbest.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all you do…

add this to your child theme custom CSS

.full-sized .slider-entry-wrap {

background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);

}

on the rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7) change the value of 0.7 to less for more transparency or make the value 0 for no background color at all.
