Slider display

Hey guys!

In the Slider options, i can do a couple of things, among them are: 1) select especific posts/pages to display in the Slider; 2) select one category.

Now, my question: is it possibles to mix the 2 options above. I mean i would like to display specific pages AND the mos recent post of a specific category. If not possible, it is a suggestion.

I think it is not possible.. Will look at loop.php..

Moved to feature requests for the Graphene theme instead of support for Antiares theme because you are using that theme and not the Antiares theme, please correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

Couldn’t you just make an extra category that you only add to content you would like to have in the slider?

I could and i did that. the problem is that i want to add pages and not only posts. I cant insert pages into categories, right?

Hmm, Google came up with a lot of pages about adding a category to a page and I even found a plug-in (I don’t know if it works though), so my suggestion is to do a search on Google 🙂

There is a way to do this, and it has been discussed in the support portion of this forum. As Ricardo mentioned, it involves a plugin that maps pages to categories, and then you can include them in the slider. Take a look around in your spare time and I’m sure you’ll find it.
