Slider bar title?
-
Hi, ok I have done it again and On my home page under the widget area is an empty box, if you highlight the box you can see the text in there, I am obviously missing something.
On a separate note I have a quick question that you may not be able to answer.
I use all in one SEO, in there I can add keywords, and in wordpress I can add tags, I have set keywords for all my pages, but for posts should I add keywords or tags or both?

Quote:the widget area is an empty boxThis is the key. You have created a text widget, added some text, and then dragged it to the “Sidebar” widget area.
You need to make sure that you have created an action hook widget area first. That widget area will then show up on your widgets page. You can drag the text widget from the “Sidebar” widget area (highlighted in yellow below) to the “Graphene Before Slider Root” widget area (highlighted in blue below):

If you don’t understand how to create that widget area, read through my tutorial again.
Quote:I use all in one SEO, in there I can add keywords, and in wordpress I can add tags…For new questions, you really should start a new thread. But fair warning: All in One SEO plugin raises a lot of hackles because it is buggy. Our usual recommendation is go with SEO by Yoast. (I don’t bother about SEO that much myself. It’s highly overrated.)
In your second comment you said i could preserve the height of the top slider bar. do i delete what i have already done but do it again pasting that instead of the other?
#graphene-dynamic-widget-graphene_before_slider_root {
color:#ffffff;
padding-left:6px;
font-size:14px;
font-weight:bold;
position: relative;
top: 4px;
}
.featured_slider {
padding-top: 0px;
}

The code you are referring to should go in Graphene’s Custom CSS feature:
Appearance >> Graphene Options >> Display Options >> Custom CSS (all the way at the bottom).
You got it! Yay!
Thanks again for planting this seed. It’s so cool.
Perfect, thank you very much.
