Sidebar Widgets Not Working

Hi there

The widgets in my sidebar display the Meta and Archives widgets, and it doesn’t matter what I do or whichever widgets I insert or remove, it remains the same. Even when I expand all the widget areas and make sure that there are no widgets activated, when I go to the site they are still there.

Please help?

Hello there.

Have you tried loading a widget on the Front Page Sidebars area too?

And have you setup the content of the widget you need according to its settings?

No change. I have enabled and disabled the options under the “Widget Area Options” tab several times, but no change. The widgets I have installed are simple hit counters, so nothing fancy there.

But let’s start from scratch. Correct me if I am wrong, but if I disable ALL the widgets in the widget area, there shouldn’t be any widgets displayed on any of my pages right?

So how could the Meta and Archives Widgets still be sitting there?? It’s weird…

OK wait, something is happening. The problem suddenly went away. Don’t know what happened, but it’s fine now.

I only see a single column format on your site, with no plugins. If you are still having this problem, please give us a link where this is happening.
