Side bar menu has disappeared on widget page WP 3.9
-
You resolved this problem for someone last August but it has sadly not helped me. I am running 3.9.2 in wordpress and widgets not working, so assume deactivated, but i have no side bar menu on the widget page (in fact nothing happens on that page, it is if it is frozen) i have deactivated all plugins and cleared the cache (in firefox) but still the problem. It has been suggested that I reload wp-admin again and also wp-includes, but wonder if there is another solution that people have found successful.
Thanks
Hi,
This is unrelated to your question but FYI.
Every time I visit a page here: http://www.bscine.com I get a a request for account verification. I think you don’t intended to do that (if not, ignore this post.). This is most likely caused by 401 restriction you added to your wp-admin. You have add a by-pass to admin-ajax.php page in your .htaccess file so that the pop-up will not appear on the main site. Hope this is helpful.

Have you edited any WordPress, theme, or plugin files?

No never touched any theme or plugin. Unfortunately the developer seems to have disappeared off face of planet and does not respond to any communication. so I am a bit in a fog here.

You are not using the Graphene theme, and whichever theme you are using does not control the widgets admin page, so I’m not sure how this is a Graphene issue.
