Showing wrong image or an owl instead of proper image
There seems to be a bug where the feature slider image for the first post is correct, but then it gets weird – on the second post is the image that belongs to the third post, and on the third post is just the default “owl” image – the same happens with the firth post.
Check it out by opening http://tommynation.com – I tested it on Android 4.0.4 with Chrome and Firefox.Admin
The post image feature is similar to the excerpt thumbnail feature in Graphene. The theme first check if the post has a featured image, and display that if it does. If not, it looks for any images uploaded for the post (but not necessarily inserted into the post), and display that. Finally, if there’s no image after checking for the two items above, it displays the generic image, which is the owl image that you see.
The owl image was really just for testing during development, but it slipped into the release version. I’ll be removing that generic image in the next update.Admin
Tried deactivating all plugins – no change. Tried to change number of posts with excerpts to a lower number than 6, no change… Can’t find anything that explains this. You can see the Harlem Shake pic that belongs to post 3 now, is on post 2. It looks fine in the standard Graphene theme, but I guess this mobile theme runs its own process on the whole shebang and somewhere something doesn’t process right.
Posts number 1, 2 and 3 have Youtube include html at the very top, and some text at the bottom. I just now set the number of posts with excerpts to show to 3 and total to 6 to see if it made any difference, but nothing… So strange.AdminAdminAdmin
OK, I’ve checked your site and it appears that the theme is working correctly. If you edit the “The Best Unofficial Savant Music Video” post, you’ll see that the harlem shake image was uploaded for that post:
I have tried setting a featured image for that post, and the featured image is displayed as it should for that post by the mobile theme. If no featured image is selected, the theme displays the first image that was uploaded for that post (means the last image in the screenshot above). You can also drag and drop those images and the theme will display whatever image that is positioned last.
