I was afraid that maybe you were using IE.

I just checked myself using Chrome, and that button doesn’t appear for me either. That is weird, because the paypal buttons on my blog are showing up.

I tried playing around with it using Chrome’s built-in element inspector (similar to Firebug) and couldn’t get it to work. It might be a plugin of some sort that isn’t playing nicely with Chrome.
