Should I disable plugins before upgrading

    This weekend I’m going to upgrade to the latest graphene. Should I disable all plugins first, then after upgrading activate all plugins? Last time I upgraded I had weird problems with plugins, and had to install graphene from scratch.

    It largely depends on your host. Mine handles upgrades automatically, and I’ve never had an issue.

    However, if you are doing a manual upgrade, the WP codex suggests that you do disable plugins first, plus a lot of other things:
