    Hi

We have bin fighting with this theme with seo. The homepage is not indexing like the posts. If you search for “adszoom” via google yahoo or bing search bar you will find all BUT home page. In webmaster tools we have submitted the homepage + 3 times over the last 6 months and can not figure it out?????? We then installed Google XML Sitemaps and All in One SEO Pack Pro to help but still )0( luck. In the last 10 years we have never in-countered such an issue. Our test site with the default theme ( 2011 ) with the same set up has 0 issue and the index.php/homepage comes up # 1 so it must be the theme. The other issue we have is if you copy and past an older posts title ( complete ) into the search bar this info should pull up the post if the title is supper unique but it dose not….

    please help…

ps talked to google and they state it must be some internal permalink issue

I don’t know what web page you are referring to, since you don’t tell us, and quite a bit comes up when I Google “adszoom”.

The All in One SEO Pack plugin is a buggy piece of crap. Ditch it.

via google yahoo or bing search bar you will find all BUT home page

Well, are people still finding your site? Are you still getting traffic from Google, Yahoo, or Bing? If so, what it does it matter if people are finding your homepage on a search engine?

If your url is adszoom.com, then people should be typing that into the address bar, not Googling it. People should come to your site via a search engine because they are looking for specific information that you have to offer, not because they are searching for you specifically. Once they find out that you have useful information, they will bookmark you.

Large numbers of readers result from high-quality, useful content (and lots of it), an attractive site design, and easy-to-follow site navigation. SEO is over-rated. What difference does it make if you can get people to your site if there’s no incentive for them to ever come back?

Sorry to rant, but SEO is seriously over-rated. Often the most useful results are not at the top of the search rankings, but I have to trawl through a lot of sites with little content (often poorly written and spelled, at that) to find what I’m looking for. Also, I constantly deal with spam on my forums and gallery because of people trying to increase their SEO by dumping link spam into my comments.

That said, when I google the name of my blog or the blogs of several other friends who use Graphene, those sites come up at the top of the Google search results. So it’s probably a combination of all those plugins, or something weird your host is doing.
